ALERT****ALERT****ALERT****

This morning I was in Albertsons' to get my snacks for the rest of the week, and I stumbled onto a new "Free" car(s) offer!

All-in-all it's a pretty good deal too, that's what drew me to the display. 3 Kellogg's products for $7.00. Well, I'm saving my UPCs for the Labonte car and transporter mail-in offer, so I went to check it out. Included with the display was a blister pack 2 car set of Jason Keller's #57 Albertsons' Busch car and Terry Labonte's #5. The boxes were also commemorative packaging with Jason & Terry stats.

The cars aren't all that good. They're made by Summit Marketing and they are not very detailed. Major sponsors only, none of the decals, and the paint is so thick it obscures the grilles. At least they have the Goodyear Tires, and the castings themselves look like they have the details cast in them.

Well, it's a couple of free cars, I'll display them with my Circle K cars (see Issue #2), and I can collect some UPCs for my transporter!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you that have joined the newsletter. It looks like DieCast Digest is going to be printing excerpts from Issue #3 in their August edition, and I'll be writing a column for them! So I'm expecting my membership to skyrocket soon, and you got to know about me before I get famous.

Keep your eyes peeled - they're out there!
