ALERT****ALERT****ALERT****

The season is over, no more racing till February - but at least the Promos are still out there!

Bill in N.E. Ohio has found a free car attached to a Stanley 25ft Tape Measure in a bubble pack. He reports that the car is "a R.C. 1/64th scale painted metal flake silver with a red #7 top & doors. Stanley Powerlock 25 is on the hood. Stanley on the trunk. A 5 inch piece of a Stanley tape runs the length of the back half of the car. The car has clear windows. It's a Monte Carlo." I've looked in a Home Depot and Wal-Mart so far with no luck.

A couple of you have also told me about another (different) Georgia-Pacific offer. This one requires a couple of UPCs from packs of computer paper and a buck for Shipping and Handling. I think Wal-Mart was where they were found, I checked a couple of Office Stores, and didn't find it, guess I better check Wal-Mart too.

Several of you have reported finding the Old Spice #20 and CVS Bayer #33 cars. One of you mentioned finding the Old Spice Gift Pack at K-Mart for $9.99

One question I have about the CVS cars, are they different from the Bayer cars found in other stores. Are all 5 paint jobs available at CVS? From what I found out from the Bayer people, there were only 4 and will be only the 4 (Bayer Aspirin, Aleve, Alka-Seltzer and A-S Heartburn) in other stores. They made a formula change to the A-S Plus Cold and didn't release that car with the other 4. Then when CVS Drugstores got involved, they got the A-S Plus Cold Car, and from what some of you told me it has the CVS name on the rear fender. The question is do the other 4 cars have CVS also? That would make this a Product-Attached Promo AND a "CVS Exclusive Product-Attached Promo" and the set would actually consist of 9 cars!

Another question for anyone who has gotten both the Sparkle Georgia-Pacific AND Computer Paper Georgia-Pacific cars. Are they the same cars? Not to mention, ProMoCo noticed the Sparkle picture shows the driver's net on the wrong side!

A final question - Did anyone get the set of Richard Petty cars that came in the Detergent? I'm pretty sure it was Wisk, but that's the next set on my list to spotlight in the Newsletter, and I'd just like to make sure I have my facts straight.

A disappointing note. I haven't verified it yet, but it looks like About is halting their Web-Hosting. That means the Web-Site will be moving soon, maybe with the same people who give me my hit-counter and Mail-List Services. I will let you know as soon as I can, I just hate all the dead links that will be hanging out on search engines for the site. Oh Well.

Keep your eyes peeled - they're out there!
