There's gonna be a new Jeff-in-a-can from Pepsi!
The case says it'll be a "New 2002 Design" and "The New Pepsi Independence Day Commemorative Die-Cast!", but no mention of the 2001 Championship.
4 UPCs from cases of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Caffeine Free Pepsi, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi, Pepsi ONE, Wild Cherry Pepsi, or Pepsi Twist.
Fill in the Original mail-in form, and send a $9.00 check or M.O. by 12/2/02, and wait 6-10 weeks.
It looks like this will be another Action Die-Cast.
I got mine last year, and I'm saving my UPCs for this one.
I don't get the Sunday paper, so I missed this one.
AKfan Dave mentioned it first, followed by (you guessed it) ProMoCo.
An insert in the February 3rd paper was the official order form for a Ricky Craven #32 Tide Diecast.
PoP for Tide or Downy and a dollar will get you a flat blister-packed car.
The offer runs March 4th through May 31st, so maybe more forms are forthcoming.
The Tide Racing Website currently still has the "Give Kids the World" promo that expired at the end of January.
I will let you know if anyone tells me about an alternate order form.
Thank goodness ProMoCo has an extra order form he's sending me!
Two Websites to check out, both for the #33 Tony Raines Bayer Busch car.
With these 2 sites, you can add to your collection of the 5 available Bayer paint schemes.
For the purest collecting fanatic - you would have to collect 14 cars to complete all packaging and paint variations!
You can get four paint schemes with Bayer Aspirin, Aleve, Alka-Seltzer, and A-S heartburn.
You have to go to CVS drugstore or online at http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/promotion?pid=5203 to get all 5 paint jobs, but they include "CVS Pharmacy" over the back wheels.
These 9 are all individually boxed, and are included with the matching product.
You can get a boxed 5 car set online at http://tonyraines.net/shirts.htm the set is priced at $18.95 plus 4.95 shipping.
From what I can see, these are the non-CVS paint jobs that include the fifth A-S Plus!
The Tony Raines Website includes pictures and stats for all the races run last season, you can see when each paint scheme was run, including a "Morning Relief" that is not offered.
From the pictures, I can't tell if any racecars featured the CVS decals, does anyone know or see something I missed?
ProMoCo told me about the Cortizone attached #17 Visine Busch car that was in the last Alert.
He thought the year of the car information may have been confusing.
He just wanted me to let you know that it is a 2000 Monte Carlo.
He also mentioned the #3 BGN car that will be driven by Jr. in May will have a Nilla Wafers paint scheme - I mentioned Jayski showed a Nutter Butter BGN in May.
I've been haunting the cracker aisles looking for the Cheez-It promo, and all I've found so far was SuperBowl related.
ProMoCo went ahead and called the toll-free number and found out they should start hitting the shelves in mid-February - any time now!
Keep your eyes peeled - they're out there!
