ALERT****ALERT****ALERT****

I should have known there's gonna be a new Jeremy Mayfield #19-in-a-can from Mt. Dew too! The case says it'll be a "2002 Collectible Die Cast" and "EVERNHAM Motorsports 19". 4 UPCs from cases of Mt Dew, Diet Mt Dew, Mt Dew Code Red, or Caffeine Free Mt Dew. Fill in the Original mail-in form, and send a $9.00 check or M.O. by 12/2/02, and wait 6-10 weeks. It looks like this will be another Action Die-Cast, this one is in the Mt Dew Green & Red scheme. I didn't get one last year, but I'm saving my UPCs for this one. There was a question last year about the color of the car, some early cars were the plain Dodge Red, but I thought someone said they got the "Dew" paint. I'd be interested in hearing from everyone that got one last year.

I still don't get the Sunday paper, so I missed this one too. Harold saw an insert in the February 10th paper for a #10 Valvoline Diecast from Mrs. Smith's Pies. PoP and OCRR (Original Cash Register Receipt) for a Mrs. Smith's Cobbler and two bucks will get you a flat blister-packed car with a collector's card. The offer runs through October 30th, and purchase dates must be between 2/10/02 and 9/30/02. You're supposed to circle the price and date, and make the check or money order payable to: 'Mrs Smith's Racing Offer'. Send your Name, Address and Phone on a 3" by 3(?)" card to:

Mrs. Smith's Racing Offer
c/o Print Direction
1600 Indian Brook Way

The usual small type: 6-8 weeks, supplies limited, not responsible for mutilated mail, illegible requests not honored, no photocopies, void where prohibited, and any attempt at fraud will be prosecuted.

In the seemingly never ending story of the Jelly Belly Promo(?), I have a new installment. Remember, last year there were specially marked bags of Jelly Belly jellybeans, collect two UPCs and $1.99 and $1.50 S&H (Alert #4). Then, I found one (and only one) in a Wal-Mart, along with some other non-authentic race-looking cars and trucks by the same company, the one cool thing was, they included "tins". Now, I found a whole bunch at the local Auto Zone store! Same packaging as the Wal-Mart truck, same packaging described by others who did send away for the promo. Looks like this Promo isn't even that Exclusive anymore!

I'm still working on fixing the WebSite, it's frustrating because there seems to be a time lag, and capitalization problems I'm working through. I'll even try to come up with a new issue of the eNewsletter soon, my day-job and DieCast Digest articles are keeping me hopping!

Keep your eyes peeled - they're out there!
