Mac says he found the #92 Excedrin car at Wal-Mart, but then mentions the #57 one too! Is this a new one or old one? He also found a "10 years of racing" #33 yellow Bayer Aspirin and blue Aleve. Some others of you mentioned the Bayer cars, but didn't tell me anything about it, Mac thinks there's another one too.

Dave in Michigan wrote; "Wait until ya try to get a proof of purchase off a glass jar of topping. What a mess and effort all for a little, bitty car."

Michael, a Mark Martin fan from Texas sent me this info. "A special edition Grands! Biscuits car, featuring the Pillsbury Doughboy?, was created for the #43 Dodge." John Andretti will drive it on October 13, 2002, at Charlotte, the free offer for the car is supposed to be coming in October (no wonder I haven't seen it!).

Brian in California got his #3 Nutter Butter car, a boxed Racing Champions. He mentioned that Andy Houston (red #92 Excedrin) was fired as the driver after only 3 races, will that make this car even more collectible? He also found a 2000 M&M's car in a Buss package that is different from the 1999 and 2001 cars.

Rich in the Chicago area found the Pedigree car in 2 different bags. Different stores had a 20 lb bag (Jewel foods-owned by Albertsons) and 50 lb bag (Wal-Mart) with a picture of the car and "free inside" on the front bottom of the bag. He tells me the car is polybagged. He also got the Chicago Tribune with a coupon promo for a "Milk Chug" car driven by Ricky Craven. 5 bottlecaps and $1.00 will get you a light blue Racing Champions car with "Milk Chug" on the hood. He says the picture didn't show any other sponsor decals.

The last eMail I got before taking a 4-day weekend was from Dave again. He says I'll have him "running thru stores and parts places looking for the goodies." (at least we know what to look for!) The answer is: the 2001 and 2002 Mrs. Smith's #10 cars have different paint jobs, as run during the season. He's checking the Pace car in his collection, sounds like he keeps very extensive info on each car he's collected! By the way, he says he's got IronIce beat, I'll look through some of my eMails, maybe I'll get another eNewsletter together, and I'll spotlight a colletor or two.

Finally, I'm getting requests for sending Alerts via US Mail. EMail will still be free, but I'll have to charge for consumables. I always appreciate your comments; how much should I charge? How much would you pay for this service? I figure an average of 2 Alerts per month, paper, envelope, printer ink, and stamps will cost me about $1.00 each month. Is my time compiling, searching and writting worth something, not to mention printing, stuffing and sending? As always, your comments are welcome.

I got myself an address for you to write me, or send donations of any kind (my wife's car bit the dust yesterday. When I look inside the "Oil" hole, there's no movement when it cranks over - oh oh! Hope it's just a timing belt and not a frozen/broken cam, I've had both before - in the same car, no less). My address is:
