OK, OK, this one isn't new either, but it is still available. Pedigree is offering a 1/64th scale Pedigree paint job of the #36 Ford. This one requires an original receipt showing $8.00 worth of any Pedigree products, the order form and a check or money order for $1.95 for shipping & handling.

I called to verify the offer is still valid since I've had the form for awhile. What if you can't find the offer form? They offered to send me one when I called. I sent an email suggesting they put a printable one on their website, like Bosch, we'll see what they do.

They also have a toll free number that I called to get this info, since I didn't find enough info at www.pedigree.com. They do have downloadable screensavers and stuff for the Kenny Schrader race fan. If you have other questions call them at 1-800-525-5273.

I've also been getting some good info from readers, special thanks to the Missouri Collector who brought me up to date. I found out that I missed a few good promos, how could I have missed the Oreo promo!? You may also want to keep an eye out for specially marked packages of Hamburger Helper for a set of 3 "Gold Collector Series" cars. The #43, 44, & 45 cars are available individually for 3 UPCs each, or the set for 9 UPCs, NO S&H! But hurry, offer ends 8/31/01. GNC - the vitamin store in the mall, is also offering an attached promo. Not a bad deal if you normally make your kids take multi-vitamins. You can buy a two pack with the attached #36 GNC paint scheme. (How many different paint schemes does this car have?!)

The Missouri Collector also told me about a couple of offers that I consider "Exclusives" rather than "Promos" (see editorial in next Newsletter). For $5.00 you can get the Cingular/Special Olympics #01 at participating Cingular stores. There's only 1 store in the 2 county area I frequent, and they didn't have it. Also, for a $20 donation to Defeat Breast Cancer, you can get 2 1/64th scale #88 cars in a "collector's tin" (or a T-shirt or ball cap). For more info, click on over to www.racefansforacure.com While I'm mentioning Exclusives, NAPA is selling a 1/64 #15 by Action for $3.99. They have a 1/24 car too, for those of you with more room. I also discovered an Exclusive for people with a neighborhood Eckerds Drugstore. They have 4 different Racing Champions 2 car sets with a NASCAR and Stock Rod with the same paint. The sets offered that I found are #10 Valvoline with a late '70s T-Top T/A, #12 Mobil 1 with a '90s Mustang, #22 Cat with a '32 Ford Coupe, and #93 Amoco with the same '32 Ford. Look for a picture page of "Exclusives" coming soon.
