Surf's Up
Most of these are WebSite offers, so get out your board and go surfing on the web.
I'm on a HotWheels mailing list hoping to find Promos, and I finally got a good lead.
They are also the reason my mailbox is full on occasion, I'm working on archiving my old mail so I'll have more room.
Check out this eMail!

ProMoCo sent me some good info that I misplaced, and then forgot to send an Alert out.
Thanks for reminding me!
In order to get it out, I'll just cut & paste.
"Here's some sweet news and some sour news for you to digest:
First, there's a good-looking #44 Brawny 1/64 Dodge by Hot Wheels now being offered as a mail-in promo for $2.00 S&H + points (UPCs) from various Brawny products + printable order form.
You can also get a #44 Brawny 1/24 Team Caliber owners series for $15.00 S&H (wow!) and the required number of points.
See details at http://www.foodlion.com/brawnygear.htm
The #44 has had various drivers this season--Buckshot, Grissom, Nadeau--and I can't tell what name (if any) is above the door.
Next, see http://www.c-els.com/sfCatalog.asp?sn=E032120020070034&pchid=10198 for another sharp-looking car--a Morton Salt #43 Monte Carlo (I think) on a blister card by Racing Champions.
It looks like Jay Sauter's facsimile signature on the card, and I kinda think it's a 2001 BGN issue.
I assume it's an exclusive that's only available from the Morton online store.
Now, how does this grab you?
Nabisco is offering the Dale Jr. #3 Oreo car for $3.99--a buck less than we had to pay earlier this year--and you don't even have to buy any product or send any UPCs.
So, what was once a neat promo is now just an exclusive.
See offer and order form at http://www.nabiscoworld.com/Sweepstakes/Suit/
A pox on their house!!!!
This week's Winston Cup Scene contains info for ordering two charity-related promos, as follows:
#32 Ricky Craven Tide/Give Kids The World 2002 Ford Taurus by Racing Champions.
I assume that the car looks like this: http://jayski.thatsracin.com/schemes/2002cup/32gktw-side.jpg
It requires an official order form and a $6.00 donation per car.
See http://www.tide.com/tideRacing/gktw_tideRacing.html for details and a printable order form.
Order must be postmarked by December 31, 2002.
#88 Dale Jarrett UPS/Race Fans For A Cure collector's tin containing two (2) 2002 Ford Taurus cars.
One car appears to be the regular #88 UPS paint scheme.
The other is a predominately blue and white fantasy (I think) design; I don't believe that this paint scheme has been or will be raced.
It requires a $20.00 donation plus $5.50 for shipping.
See details and order form at https://racefansforacure-donate.com/rffacd/donations2.html
The 2001 #88 two-car collector's tin is also still available for $10.00 plus shipping.
And, would you believe . . . another . . .
#43 John Andretti Pop Secret Dodge Intrepid.
This promo comes in a box attached to two 6 packs of Pop Secret Popcorn and looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1767108680
I'm unsure whether it's a 2002 or 2001 model.
It appears to have the same color scheme as the 2002 Hot Wheels #43 Pop Secret cars, but it also closely resembles the car that Andretti raced at Rockingham in November 2001.
See http://jayski.thatsracin.com/schemes/2001cup/43pop-secret-front.jpg"
Thanks for all your help, I haven't had a chance to go out to even check these out yet.
I haven't seen the PopSecret in stores, and the rest are on the Web.
I just checked my current Promos and noticed I just missed the Smucker's car, darn, I had the UPC and receipt and everything!
Well, today's another birthday, seems like they just come and go, just
Keep your eyes peeled - they're out there!
